How it works
- 1
Submit your details
Your name, email and X username — that is all we need to prepare the export.
- 2
We build your file
We compile your followers into a clean file and email it to you within 24 hours.
- 3
Upload and send
Import the file into Tweeksocial and send personalised DMs to your followers at a safe pace.
We only use your details to prepare and send your export. We never sell or share your data.
Three ways to download your Twitter followers
X does not have a button that exports your followers as a spreadsheet. Its free data archive includes them, but as numeric account IDs and profile links rather than usernames. For a list of handles you can use straight away, use an export service like this one, or a follower tool with a CSV export.
| Option | Cost | Usernames included? | How quickly | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| X data archive | Free | No: account IDs and profile links | When X has prepared it | An official backup |
| Export service (this page) | Varies | Yes | Within 24 hours | A usable list without the work |
| Follower tool export | Usually part of a paid plan | Yes, plus other details | Straight away, once set up | Regular exports and analysis |
The step-by-step version, including how to request X's archive and what to do with the file once you have it, is in the guide how to export your Twitter/X followers to a CSV.
Downloading Twitter followers: common questions
Yes. X's data archive includes your followers, although as account IDs and profile links rather than usernames. For a list with handles, use a follower tool with an export option or an export service like the one on this page.
No. The archive's follower.js and following.js files list each account's numeric ID and a profile link, not its handle, so you would need to look each one up to see who it is.
Within 24 hours. Submit your name, email address and X username, and the file is emailed to you, ready to upload into Tweeksocial.
Upload the list to a mass DM tool, write a message that uses each person's name, and let it send individually through the day. Messages to people who follow you go straight into their inbox.
Every month or two for a backup. For a list you plan to message, export close to the date of the campaign, because followers change every day.
Turn that list into conversations
Once you have your export, Tweeksocial sends personalised mass DMs to your followers at a safe, human pace — with delivery and reply tracking built in.
